Registration Cancellation insurance is designed to provide coverage for unforeseeable circumstances. The Coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, became a known event in January 2020, and was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization on March 11, 2020. SecureFee™ Plus Registration Cancellation policies specifically exclude losses caused by an Epidemic or Pandemic. However, this exclusion is waived with respect to a registrant's positive COVID-19 diagnosis provided that the positive COVID-19 diagnosis was received after the registrant's effective date of coverage and the registrant was advised by his or her physician not to participate in the event.

No coverage is provided under the Single-Day and Season Registration Cancellation coverages if the registrant is unable to participate or continue to participate due to the following:

• The event for which the registrant was registered being cancelled by the venue or promoter due to COVID-19 concerns
• The registrant being quarantined or otherwise required to stay at home or shelter in place due to exposure to COVID-19
• COVID-19 - related illness of a family member
